MY MAIN GOALS FOR 2020.
Happy New Year my angels! 2020 and a new decade, which means time to put some goals into action.
Some of my 2019 highlights were that I got to meet incredible people throughout the year. Visiting Disney World again, which was somewhere I really wanted to go back to. Partied until the sun came up in Spain with amazing people and spent time with family.
I thought I would share some of my goals this year. I’m incredibly late doing this as we are near the end of January now.. Oops. I always set myself goals instead of resolutions, as I feel resolutions are just a negative mindset (I can’t eat this, or I need to stop doing that). For me personally it just doesn’t set the tone of the year off. With goals you can make small achievable ones that help you grow. You can then add more throughout the year as you tick them off.
A little progress each day, adds up to big results.
With that all in mind, here are my main goals for 2020..
BECOME HEALTHIER.
By this, I don’t mean getting up at 5am to go to the gym 6 days a week. Realistically that isn’t me.
I do enjoy a workout though so I can make sure I am getting at least a small workout each day to feel good. Another goal is to cut down on my meat intake, and find different meal alternatives to the usual I have.
SAVE MORE.
There is no doubt about it that I love to spend money on clothes and makeup. This got to the point that the delivery driver once delivered my item to my house as he knew my work offices werent open (thanks Andy). This year I want to only buy essentials instead of buying something because it looks pretty. With this goal, I can eventually do the things I want to do like travel more and buy a home.
It’s nearly the end of January and I haven’t bought one piece of clothing yet. To say I’m proud of myself is an understatement.
CREATE MORE.
This goes without saying, but 2019 I was useless at blogging and Youtube. I want a better schedule and fall in love with creating again, without the pressure.
My plan is to change my blog so instead of just reviews and holiday trips, I can include more advice. I am currently in the process of planning my content for this blog. I also filmed a video last year on Youtube which I was so proud of and had positive feedback. It would be amazing to get back to this too, with more vlog styles.
MORE MEMORIES.
This sounds pathetic, I know. Last year I became a workaholic, which made me kept making excuses as to why I can’t go out. This is going to stop. I am going to make sure I put aside time to spend with friends and create memories. This is my last year in my 20s after all, so it has to be my best.
This year will be one of my brothers wedding and one of my best friends too. I already have those two amazing events to look forward to.
BETTER MINDSET.
One thing I found really helpful in 2019 was writing in my journal and writing daily affirmations. This really helped start my day and get my mind in a good place. I want to make sure I am doing this everyday and finding podcasts or videos to help me too. Having a positive mindset really does help you.
I also want to get more into spirituality. I found crystals also really help me. My goal is to take the time to learn more about them and find the right crystals for me.
Those are my main goals so far, but as the year goes on I’m sure more will be added. I am so excited for a new year, a new decade and the last year of my twenties. I have a feeling it will be good.
