It’s coming to the most wonderful time of the year again, where we can finally put 2020 behind us and hopefully spend some quality time with loved ones. This year might be a bit difficult causing a lack of motivation and getting into the spirit with a lockdown, but I thought I would share some gift ideas for the women in your lives (Gift guide for him coming soon).
Whether you’re buying for your mum, sister, friends, auntie or whoever else is close to you, I’m hoping there’s an idea for everyone in this list.
Makeup and Beauty.
Let’s start with a simple idea and one that most women will love. Makeup and beauty products are so easy as you can easily pick a few cheaper stocking fillers, or buy an expensive product she’s had her eye on. You could also refill a product she’s running out of too, which I’m sure she’ll be really thankful for.
A Few Makeup Brands:
Charlotte Tilbury, It Cosmetics, Benefit, Huda Beauty, Mac, Becca, Estee Lauder, Laura Mercier, Anastasia Beverly Hills
A Few Beauty Brands:
Pixi, Clinique, The Ordinary, Elemis, Alya Skin, Nip & Fab, Rituals
Hair Styling Tools.
Another idea for her would be hair products that she can style easily at home. Having the option to style her hair in different ways creates looks that she can mix and match with outfits. A few products I would recommend are:
The Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer: Yes, it’s expensive. However it is quiet and does create a beautiful finish to the hair.
Beauty Works x Molly Mae Waver Kit: Creates stunning mermaid style waves and is really quick to use.
Mark Hill Pick n Mix Range: I love this range. You buy the handle and then buy the attachments separately to whatever style you are after. It’s so easy to change the looks.
Loungewear.
This is the year of lounge, so a new set of pjs or joggers would be a perfect treat. There are so many amazing brands that offer cosy lounge sets that I’m sure she’ll love.
A Few Brands:
Lounge Underwear: www.loungeunderwear.com
Bo + Tee: www.boandtee.com
In The Style: www.inthestyle.com
SLA The Label: www.slathelabel.com
Angelle Collection: www.angellecollection.com
Perfume.
This is a pretty standard gift idea, and one I’m sure any woman would appreciate. You would need to have an idea on the type of scents she loves to find the prefect perfume as everyone is different. A few I personally love:
YSL: Black Opium
Chanel: Mademoiselle
Lancome: La Vie Est Belle
Dior: Miss Dior
Valentino: Valentina
Bath Products.
Bath bombs would make the perfect gift (for someone with a bath obviously) or some lovely shower gel. Lush are perfect for bath and shower scents to help her relax and unwind during this time. If you want to splurge and go for something a little more luxury then Jo Malone or Molton Brown are perfect.
Gift Hampers & Advent Calendars.
Want to create something more personal? Hampers are an incredible way to make a thoughtful gift for her. You could decide on how much you want to spend on it, and put her favourite things in one basket. Top gifts to put inside the hamper would be chocolate, small beauty products, scented candles, pjs, and maybe a bottle of wine. If you would rather buy an already made hamper, then here are some great ideas:
The White Company: www.thewhitecompany.com
Hotel Chocolat: www.hotelchocolat.com
If you are organised and want to treat her to 25 little gifts, then another great way would be an advent calendar. There are so many out there, from beauty calendars to scented candles and even gin ones.
Flowers.
Flowers always brighten someone’s day and are an amazing way to tell someone you care about them. Some great websites to get beautiful flowers from:
Bloom and Wild: www.bloomandwild.com
Prestige Flowers: www.prestigeflowers.co.uk
Fleurs De Paris: www.fleursdeparis.co.uk
At Home Beauty Treatments.
An idea that would be something different and perfect with this whole lockdown situation, would be to buy a beauty treatment kit for her. If she loves going to get her nails done then you can buy an at home gel kit that she can use. It isn’t the same as treating herself to going to the salon, I know, but it’s something to make her feel good while being in lockdown.
Gel Nail Kit: Comes with a heater, 4 shades, remover, wipes and nail base so that she can have the perfect start kit to do nails at home.
Lvl Lash Lift Kit: A great kit for creating a lash lift at home.
Lash Tint Kit: Dye lashes at home with this simple kit from Eyelure.
Jewellery.
You can decide how much you want to spend on jewellery but you can find some really lovely affordable pieces. One that I think is a perfect gift for a special someone is Jewellery with crystals as they look amazing and show a true meaning behind them too. Some brands I love are:
Bohemarie Jewllery : Lovely affordable pieces of Jewellery and crystal collections.
Bohomoon Jewellery. : Affordable pretty jewellery.
Monica Vinader : A few more expensive pieces but really lovely.
Scented Candles.
I personally think scented candles make a great gift as they are basically hugs and give you a warm feeling. There are so many lovely brands and scents to choose from. One of my most favourite brands is the White Company (Winter being my number 1) and also Jo Malone. For a more affordable brand check out Yankee Candles.
Heated Blanket.
A thoughtful and cosy gift would be a heated blanket. It’s cosy, you can use it throughout winter and again it’s a small gift that shows you care.
Personalised Gift.
Personalised gifts are great as it shows you have really thought about the person and wanted to add something special.
Name a star after her: Star Registry
A map / date of a special occasion she can keep: Mapiful
Personalised bags: Katie Loxton, Abbott Lyon, Zara
Experience Days / Holidays.
I know this would be quite a hard one given the type of world we live in at the moment, however buying a gift voucher for days out or weekends away is a nice idea. I personally think it would make someone feel more hopeful for 2021 and give them something to look forward to.
Silk Pillowcase.
This sounds so random but silk is meant to be great for hair. The silk allows the hair to slide naturally and avoids absorbing moisture from the hair which normally leads to frizz. This means she will wake up with her hair frizz-free and feeling silky smooth, creating a good hair day as soon as she wakes up. Silk pillows also look luxury too which to be honest is a win-win.
Personal Planner.
Planners are a great gift to keep her feeling organised and motivated. It’s a personal diary, journal, and motivation guide rolled into one. TKMaxx and Homesense have some great cheaper alternatives but here are a couple I personally love:
The Happiness Planner: Here
Law Of Attraction Planner: Here
Books.
Who doesn’t love a good book. Whether it’s a novel, cook books or self -help motivational books, there is something for everyone.

Here are a few ideas I had for what to buy a special woman in your life. I hope they are useful and give you some inspiration towards the perfect present.
